No, at least not using the default midi mappings.
You'd need one x-touch full, because there are no 'extender only' midi mappings for more than one standalone MCU Extender.
I've tested and (rarely) used 1 full and 2 extender (MidiCtrl_Mackie_MCUPro_24CH-Ex_Ex_Pro), but mostly use either just one extender or the full and one extender (MidiCtrl_Mackie_MCUPro_16CH-Ex_Pro).
3 * TIO1608 + AIC-128 + X-Touch + Dante -> AES + DADC-144DT

You can't do it connecting directly to the SAC host, but you can do it by adding remotes (1 x-touch per remote)

You may also be able to do it via RTP Midi (not sure if you can aggregate channels).

A single x-touch extender works fine using the MCU Pro 16 channel MIDI template, so I'd expect it to work with the 24ch one as well. So if RTP MIDI allows aggregation of the individual x-touch units that might work to connect 3 units to a single SAC host.

Well, this might work, but only for static assignment. If you'll change the mixer you want to work with, you'd need to do it in all three instances of SAC. The same will happen if you want to change assignment to an other channel.
@cgrafx why do you use a 16 channel template for a 8 channel device, especial when a dedictated template (MidiCtrl_Mackie_MCUEx_8Ch) is available?

I don't use a 16channel template. I just wanted to see if the template works which it does. As I said, you may be able to aggregate 2 or 3 x-touch interfaces into a single 16/24 channel unit using RTP Midi, in which case you would need the 16 or 24 channel template to make that work.

As for assignment using remotes for the extra x-touch interfaces, you can assign those in any manner you wish, static, follow hot-channel, locked to a specific mixer etc. Its extremely flexible.

Just use the three midi devices available in SAC to avoid any external midi patching.

on winXP, that doesnt work. xtouch shows up as a usb audio device and I can only load a single surface.

on win10 the xtouch shows up as an xtouch, but i havent tried connecting more than one.

At the present time I don't believe any of the SAC/SAW MIDI templates support Meters, so as nice as the V1-X looks, the meter bridge is just going to be wasted space.
