Is anyone using SS for ambisonics?

Post by Scott P »

Hi all,

I am thinking about buying an ambisonic mic. I know nothing about how it will integrate with SS. I know that there are multiple encoding/decoding plugins, but have no idea how they would function with SS.

Anyone?

Thank you!

They would function in SS exactly like they would in any other DAW. plug in the individual mic channels to separate channels in SS and then to process the audio, insert the relevant plug-in. You will need to refer to the instructions for the plug-in for how to operate the plug-in and process the audio.
