I do believe that this result is to be expected. So, here is what I always do,

For Mixer Menu, Solo Mode, select: Solo-In Place - Mutes Other Channels
  • This is Option 12
Test the above out and see what it does.

Check the routing of both PFL/Solo busses. I assume that you route the pfl signal to your main output.

Try the different pre/pst solo options in the Mixer Menu/Solo Mode menu.

Also... right-clicking the solo button at the top of the screen lets you adjust the master solo volume.

Hi, I have the following situation when I solo a track that has music say from a computer using TRS jacks. The music suddenly jumps
really loud as if the volume was increased 5x time or so. I don't know if any one has experience such. I am using an RME Digital USB
with an AD8200. I will need to test if this is the same for Mics. Please any one has an idea let me know. Maybe I have a wrong set up.
