It is the bare minimum. You won't be able to adjust between tracks post-recording. It's nowhere near as full featured as SAW - actually, even comparing them isn't fair to it. You would never want attempt to use it to capture a multi-track performance for later editing/mixing. It's not a DAW. It can't even play back what it records. But - to soundcheck your mix, it looks like it would work - and the price is right.

You'd patch it into your output track as a VST, indicate a wav output file name and location, manually start it - and then do your sound check. At the end, you'd manually stop it, and use a wav recorder pointed at your newly minted wav file to listen to the result.

I can imagine that there might be some difficulties with competition for converter resources between SAC and your wav player. So, you might have to close SAC to listen to it. And, the features and compatibility tab indicates that it was made for Windows XP and has some potential incompatibilities with modern OSs - and, in particular, 64 bit. So, you may have to do the jBridge dance to get it to work. Long term, you'd be much better off with SAW (which uses the same buffers as SAC): at some point you're probably going to want to capture what you're doing for later post-production. But... the learning curve is next to zero, again - it's free-ish, and it's just barely sophisticated enough to perform a sound check if you also have a wav player.

Being new to the family here, there was a time when SAW sold for over $2000.00!! So, "Don't worry!"..."Be Happy!" and buy SAW.

If you own SAC32, yoou could employ SAW32 Basic at $100.00.

You might also keep in mind that SAW can be be, and has been, deployed in a live environment as well.
