I've not read much on these (only The Nerds advert.), nor know much about them, but these may be a reasonably priced alternative, with a small-ish footprint, for remote/monitor systems.

Not enough useful res, in my opinion... I explored these options for many weeks during the design phase... anything less than 1024 x 768 was less than effective for my taste.

I'd use them in 600x800 portrait mode... No W mixer... An handful of channels only... :-)

as musician's remotes, but I understand that current requirements are 1024x768 resolution and 256MB ram.

Bob, is there any chance you'll change the hard-coded limits a bit in the future?
The musicians remotes don't really need to access W Mixer, and speed is not so important...

What are the system requirements for SAC Remote? I assume it's less than SAC...but as I breathe life back into an fossilized Dell for a buddy, I find myself wondering just how stupid a computer can be and still serve as a remote.
