Thanks!
I forgot the the Levelizer does this. I just upgraded to the 64 version of it and will try it out.

Eitan, Glad to hear you are surviving - and hope the world has been treating you well.

Check the remove silence in Levelizer to see if that is what you are asking about, it works differently than Saw's. The attack time is added to the front of the region. It works better in conjunction with soft edges as the boundaries are now in an arbitrary part of the waveform.

Side question, is there auto zero crossing for that Levelizer remove silence?

Hi all, looooooon time not posting here :)

I'm starting to use SawStudio again and got the newest v2.
Looking at the gate and its relationship to silence detection, I wish there was a way to set an offset in ms or samples that's applied post the detection mechanism.
I know that the attack can be used in such a way but as I understand it, it's not really an offset it's just using the attack/release as a form of padding that's altering the detection process. What I think would be very powerful, is an actual offset either to the left or right of transient that is added after the detection process. In my experience with editing and working with this, it might allow for more flex when trying to apply splits based on silence detection more consistently across longer timelines.

What do you guys think?

Eitan
