SAC/SAW Best Practices

Hi everyone!

Working through the best practices for the common application of using SAC to mix a show while multitracking with SAW.

Love the import options to easily bring in SAC channels to SAW and activate the recording template features!

A few questions:

1) If using the Force Single CPU option in SAC, should I also activate this option in SAW?
2) Is there a method/option with the SAC Link Options, to NOT import mix data such as EQ, dynamics, etc.. and just import the routing? Or should I simply select all the channels and choose just to turn off the EQ, dynamics, etc...? The goal is to record each each channel right at the pre-attenuation point.
3) To playback the SAW multitrack back into SAC (virtual soundcheck), do I simply change the input of each channel? Or is there a better method?

The import does record the signals flat at the top of the chan... the eq and compression settings are imported to the SAW chan so that playbackback starts out matching the signal settings that are in SAC... but the actual tracks are recorded pre all the processing so you are not double processing. This allows you to change the processing after the recording... but it starts you out matching what you heard in SAC.

Is creating a scene that simply changes the input patch a solution to quickly patch SAW recorded channels back into SAC for a virtual soundcheck scenario?
