Latency Induced by Sonoris Plugs

Hello Ira,

all plugs you mention have latency and that is why they don't work in SAC.
However, the Eq should work in non HQ mode.

Ira, any plugin that adds latency will be automatically bypassed in SAC... nothing is wrong with those plugs... they cannot be used in SAC because they alter buffer sizes which can not happen with live input data.

We need to ask Pieter to change the default behaviour of the EQ so that it starts in 'normal' mode, not HQ, that way it can be hot-plugged without stopping the engine.

Yes, Pieter is back from his summer vacation. Let's write to him.

Also, Bob, thanks for your answer. The little info box (counter) in the upper left SAC window is a great info tool for keeping track of dropped buffers, etc. Thanks for including it. Once I saw and understood it, it was easy to see the "problem".
