Hi, Does anyone use Frontier's Alphatrack in windows 10 x64? Is there any problems installing the older drivers?

I have a Frontier Alpha Track hooked up to my secondary playback DAW running Windows 10 Home 64bit, and it works great now - but I do remember it took me a number of attempts to get the drivers and applet to install correctly - make sure you install them with "Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode" checked.

Best regards,
Steve Berson

Hi, Thanks for the info. A fella locally has offered me one so I'll give that a go.

I have an Alphatrack on SS 64 / Win 10. It works great. No issues. But, is there a way to have the Alphatrack follow the track/channel selection automatically so that I don't have to keep manually changing the channel manually? It's kind of a drag going from track 1 to track 20+.

Thank you!
Scott

Good day,

Why not have a look at Behringer's X-TOUCH ONE [Click_Me]

I do hope that each one understands that the way in which Windows "works" [...or does NOT work, depending on one's viewpoint], that unless redundant processes have been employed [disk imaging], that installing potential failed devices is not recommended!

If there IS an alternative, then this would be the preferable way....at least to me anyhow, to move forward.

In the Mixer Menu under Navigation Links, check the Mixer Views To Hardware Controller option and the AlphaTrack will chase the hottrack.
