SOT: "Placement" Shades

Post by mr_es335 »

Good day,
For those, such as myself, that employs the use of SAC and SAW - "in tandem", not only are the positionings of the title bars and other such elements rather "significant", but so are the positionings of those elements that make up the various "views".

To meet this objective, I developed what I refer to as "Placement Shades" - to assist me in meeting these "placement" objectives.

I have provided the main image and various screen captures of four of the more prominent views namely, 1) SAC "no views", 2) SAC "Wide Mixer view", 2) SAW "no views", and 4) SAW "Wide Mixer view". These images - seventeen in total, are provided in an accompanying ZIP file [Click_Me].

Launching these various images in an image viewer application, such as "Cornice Portable", will display the following:

  • The main image [Image ~1]
  • A comparison of the SAC, F1 and F2 views [Images 1 and 2]
  • A comparison of the SAW, F1 and F2 views [Images 3 and 4]
  • A comparison of the SAC and SAW F1 views [Images 5 and 6]
  • A comparison of the SAC and SAW F2 views [Images 7 and 8]

The last eight images [Images 9 though 16], are identical to the above - with the exception that I am employing the use of Brett Brandon's "Simple Shade"...and which I had updated to 64-bit usage - as well as a host of other "visual" alterations.
  • Please note: The latter "Simple Shade" - my sincerest apologies, will NOT be made available, as these shades have been specifically designed for my own particular personal "needs-and-requirement". Again, my sincerest apologies!

The Placement Shades are screen "real-estate specific" - so, I have developed these Placement Shades for 1600x900 and 1920x1980 resolutions.

If anyone would be interested in the Placement Shades, please do let me know, and I would be more than delighted to provide one-or-both of these shades for your own particular requirements.

Thank you for your interest.

And, as always, a heartfelt "Thank You" to Bob for developing - what I believe to be - two of greatest software applications of all time.
