A few updates of possible interest...

1) I am getting closer to completing my Live Rig configuration.

2) I recently purchased an HK Audio Polar 10 Column speaker system...[Click_me]

* Thus far, I am very, very pleased with this configuration...much nicer than the Bose.

3) The fellow that was assisting me with my channel configurations has gotten very busy as of late.
* Thus, I am finding that I am having to perform much of this "engineering" work on my own - failing more than I am succeeding...I am sure.

4) I installed a KNA NG-2 pickup system in my nylon-strung...[Click_me]

* Thus far, I am very, very pleased with the end results!

Question: Any comments regarding this configuration?

5) The hunt for a workable solution for the steel-strung now ensues.
* Any suggestions would be appreciated - with a very strong dislike for the "piezo quack"!

6) As I have noted many times previously, I am always appreciative of RML Labs software - and the ability of such software to be extremely versatile!

I was going to suggest looking into B-Band acoustic guitar pickup systems, but it appears they quietly went out of business some years ago. That's a pity, because not only did they make a wonderful dual pickup system (their own under-the-saddle design, with a bridge plate contact pickup and preamp), but the owner was delightful to work with over the phone. I had great success with a dual system I installed on an old Washburn acoustic-electric fretless bass, when its original clacky saddle pickup wires broke off one day.

Don't know if it's still possible to find their pickups, but might be worth the hunt.
