Is this of interest to anyone? Automated build mix

Post by jmh »

No fancy video - not set-up for that (nor do I know what I'm doing) - I wanted to do a nice voice-over but I haven't stumbled on an output format combination in obs-studio (any help here would be appreciated) that will open in Saw, so this is a temporary video with me incoherently rambling instead of an articulate monologue - don't expect this link to work for very long:

This will become part of control2tempo (which none of you appears to be using) - for now, this toy is just for me. The initial menu is accessed by backtick-x It is still slightly prone to crashing studio - but identifying the cause is proving to be like the needle in the haystack. The initial menu is generated from the 'Recent Session' menu.

This kind of script is intended to be modified for whatever workflow suits someone - but the video is an experimental set-up - for a rough setting the volume levels for the final output.

What is happening?

Build Mix - Saw
Obtain 'Replay-Gain' value - Lame (no mp3 generated)
Adjust Gain - Sox
Open Mix-Template with whatever processing you choose, Build Mix - Saw
Adjust Gain - Sox
Make mp3 output - Lame

You may have noticed that this is in 32 bit saw. All of the control2tempo features work in SS64 too.
