Howdy All,

I've done a first read though of the manual AND the release note!

The console works way better then I even hoped for :D .

Hats off to BOB!

I'm pretty sure everyone is working on the console so what I'm working on is the remote/master funcations.

I have three PC in use.
1. Master - P4 3.2
2. Remote 1 - P4 2.66
3. Remote 2 - Thinkpad T61 (2 months old)
All PC are now in a group and have simple names.
All PC can be seen in the Network
All three are very stable running SAW and SAC
A default setup was configuried and saved.
Session name "FirstShot" save in new location D:\SAC\MXS\

The Remote Session

My first try was to have the Master opened configuried, saved and running a session.

Remote 1 is running in default with no changes since install.
Remote 2 is same as 1

Network note
First off I have found a possible an issue with the ThinkPad's NIC and my D-Link. It would not see the others, but I could see Remote 2 but could not access it. Back to the Linksys till I find out whats up.

With everyone up I first activated the Host/Master. Got my IP and a connection status.

Activated Remote 1 which after it connected gave me a popup saying "Trouble Opening File!" . After I "OK" the popup the Remote 1 showed the file location status as [\\Master\\SAC\MXS\FirstShot.mxs]

Activated Remote 2 with same as Remote 1

Everything so far works as if I'm at the Master :) .

From manual:
You will then be able to operate the Master machine from the Remote machine, opening, closing and saving sessions, and controlling the consoles remotely.

I tried this and the Remotes could not open or save a session at the Master.

Sounds like you do not have access rights on the remote machines... try to copy and save a file from the remote to the host (in the Windows Explorer)... you must be able to read and write files across the network... file sharing must be ON.

Also... realize that the remote hooks are not all in place yet... Scenes do not work... and certain other functions still need work... but you should be able to control the mixer controls on any mixer.
