Absolutely... done that one myself before, too. :)

I just dislike finding threads, when I am searching for solutions, that are left hanging.
Suspense is great in a good espionage film... not so much in forum searches. :)
Thanks for the compliment. :)

And thanks Bob.

The problem was with a mixer I use in my mixing room, and after switching it for another mixer, the problem persisted because one of them is having issues and is operating in mono, even though the VU meters say otherwise. The other had the rear button marked "Mono" activated. Don't ask me why I thought I was hearing the music from the other sources in stereo. Anyway, both mixers caused confusion.

Thanks everyone, and sorry for my clumsiness.

By the way, Bob, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask, Why don't I appear on the forum as a Sawstudio user? That would be nice.

I'll keep checking. I'll try a different interface. I'm using Windows 7, and I've tried it on another PC with Windows 10, and the problem persists.

It is possible/probable that saw is using a different input channel pair or different driver model like asio to
access it than the windows applications.
But there is no 'saw' driver setting that can impact that.

If I play through the Behringer from Windows Media Player Classic, or from Firefox with YouTube, there's no problem. Or from SS with headphones, it works fine. It's crazy; it happens in any session.

Possible, but only if the headphones are getting a mix from a different output from SAW. I do believe the poster indicated the headphone mix is from the output mix, so there has to be something else going on in the behringer interface.

jmh, yes
that's the only place directly in SAW that you could set anything to mono on the outputs. There really has to be something going on external to SAW.

When you say it only happens in SAW, what else are you using to output to the interface?

Is the audio for the phones coming on the same output channel? Ie Output track 1
If so, it nearly has to be external to saw.

Pedro V wrote:For some reason, my Sawstudio is playing in stereo through the headphone output and mono through the main and playback outputs. I'm using a Behringer UMC204HD. The problem only occurs with SS.
Have you by chance set the output to mono?
