What's the opposite of a Newbie? My experience with SAC is so far in the past now that anything I ask will sound like a Newbie. Here goes:

1. My version of SAC is at 3.1. I can't download and re-install it on my Windows 10 machine because the OS is telling me that it may harm my device. I don't know if anyone else has seen that.
2. I recall there was a fee ($100?) to upgrade v3 to v4 but I don't see that option anymore. I don't know if v4 is compatible with my Windows 10 (I'm using Build 21390)
3. Can I upgrade v3.1 to SAC64 using the RML store?

I will download the SAC64 demo to see if it works with my version of Windows 10. I will also see if it recognizes Dante Virtual Soundcard as an input device. And I'll search here for any discussions of same.

Thanks all.

Welcome back, Ira!

1. Should be able to get past win 10 blocking install, I can't remember the explicit verbage, but when the window is up saying "nope", there is a clicky which i think says "more information"... Click that and install anyway (logged in as administrator account).

2&3 will require another's answer ;)

Ira,

I gave you access to the 4x version... try that and see if that fixes the problem.

Thank you John. I think there were 5 or 6 hoops to jump thru to download and install. Cheers.

Hi Dell,
Yes, you left enough breadcrumbs that I was able to follow your clues to solving the issue. I have v4.7 and the SAC64 demo testing now.
Cheers.

Much appreciated Bob. Testing now with Dante Virtual Soundcard. Can't seem to go "Live"! I forgot the basics. Geez!!
Can I download more brain cells from somewhere?

Thanks,
Ira
